I am man of many talents, none particularly profitable: full time trombonist, composer, arranger, sideman, part-time blogger, home cooking guru and armchair political pundit. In the last year I recorded my 2nd CD of original music, toured Madagascar, won a BMI Young Jazz Composers award and helped launch a new Brooklyn-based musician-run venue. I also played a varied assortment of gigs with bands, including the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Puerto Rican salsa legend Choco Orta, Brooklyn gypsy funk project Slavic Soul Party and an 18-piece cover band called the Bjorkestra.
