For reasons I can't remember, I left a career as a lifeguard on a very warm beach to consult on brands and innovation in very cold places like New York and London. Along the way, I helped an oil company become greener, helped an urban icon stay cool and advised a multinational on how best to use bribes and police impersonation to grow a business in Russia. I'm currently off on a photography sabbatical with my wife in Asia, filling my blog pirateindustry.com with lies and planning to make sure my next venture in Singapore isn't just another job.
